Meesie #2

Another blog about my Grandmother's cat? Nope I could but this is another cat in the same neighbourhood called Mees.
He's a sweet Burmese. his owner named him after Siamees. The dutch name of a Siamese
He acts pretty much like a cat who's long dead. called Poeska
He's sweet for a few pets on the head. But as soon as he had enough he'll strike out lol
But that's what his owner says. He's rather sweet.
He even lets me pick him up lol
Just look how sweet and innocent he is!!
Till you look at your left lol
Cats will always do what cats do lol
Also I keep forgetting to post this but this dog was adorable. Her eye wasn't infected. Nope. 1 eye is white and the other is white mixed with brown. this crappy Iphone cam doesn't do her justice :)

Any way dinner time! I am going to pack stuff in advance. :)

Harvest Moon #2

Much like Harvest Moon we need to harvest stuff, even when its raining.
gjgj

We went to get Sunflowers, Broccoli and Courgettes
I wanted to get grapes but they weren't quite there yet
99% was still green.
Damn it was raining was raining hard. Both my coat and shoes where leaking.
Luckily Henk let us dry off in his shed/home, he's a friend and farm-neighbour of my Grandpa
Henk is  Carnaval kind of dude. He collects antiques, like this old 50's stove. And constantly plays Dutch folk music
He even has an old kiln. which I am not sure works like it used to. being rusty and all.
And something pretty much every Japanese family wats lol :P
Then I got bored and followed this snail as it was trying to reach the outside lol

Any way after I got home I took a shower and hanged my coat in the bath... room. I still need to do that! xD

Meesie

Meesie is the daughter of my cat Amber. She's a pessimist at best. But can be quite adorable at times. She lives at my gradparents place after we gave her to them to replace the void their previous cat Mamora left after she passed away. My grandmother named her after the Dutch name of the Great Tit which is Kool Meesje (a much better name). Any way won't comment much. I'll just give the photo's titles
 Meesie
 Approaching the house
 Want to come in
So much hope lol
Want to come in now! (and not amused)
 Now its snowing
*Yaaaaaaawn*
 *Yaaaaaaawn*
 Itchy nose
 Wut? #1
 Upstairs
 On the stairs
Sleeping on the stairs! (and frankly in the way)
 Sleeping in the sun
Wut? #2
Wants to be pet when sleeping in the sun
 Looking for chicken
Finds the chicken
And that's about it for Meesie

And now Its time to set some tea :3

Open plates

Man I do take allot of photo's of food. when I am on twitter lol.
Like here with this yummy plate with raspatat, a croquette and peanut sauce. And a big cup of Fernandez on the side
I don't only eat junk food for take-out. I also get stuff like Thai red curry rice.
And pasta forno
When I am lazy I don't do the slow way with layering stuff. I just grab one of those ready made lasagne's and pretty much alter everything about it.
But my Grandpa's Pasta forno is still the best
When I am there I always take some leftovers and make something myself lol
But I do cook stuff myself and occasionally try new stuff, like here with my potato dish lol
Also I do have a sweet tooth :)
This is what I am eating now Surinam brown beans with rice yum!

Ice Circles

Today I spent my day walking the city complaining on hot it was and that I looked like a hippy. So Today I decided to post a blog about the Ice Circles that sprout up during winter
This was actually the first time any one noticed there rather cool rings
Which have marked pretty much every square inch of the canals in the old centre  of the town
As you can see people tried to throw rocks in the centres of the circles
Which some times make it look like they take the shape of old English hill forts
Or a finger digit
I mean they look like handlines lol
Or tracks of some creature
Or just crop circles in Ice
But there's nothing mysterious about these
They are just for show
Made by something natural
The animal don't even bother with it. Just walk all across it and around it.
Really they aren't really hard to figure out
They where made by gasses that seep from the bottom to the ice
Which ripple the ice during formation.
And quickly take over all the channals
And even break the ice in places.
Like here
I hope the ice circles will be back next December
So I can make more of these photo's
And don't worry about the birds in the winter. Food enough for every duck
BTW.
Check out one of the oldest windows of Delft that hasn't been touched since it was placed.
And the chicken who went ''WUT!?!'' before attacking the students who where joking about picking up them chickens and eating them lol

Any way. Fun blog. Now I feel a bit cooled down. But its still hot here. bye :)
